Executive Directors
Deborah Buck, Violin, has a full and varied career as the first violinist of the LARK Quartet, Concertmaster of the Brooklyn Philharmonic, and as a recitalist and concerto soloist. She was educated at The Juilliard School as a Starling student of Dorothy DeLay and at the University of Southern California where she was a pupil of Robert Lipsett. Most recently, Debbie was featured in recital at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. In 2010, Debbie led the Stamford Symphony, North Eastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Sympho, and Colonial Symphonies. An avid teacher, Debbie has a thriving private studio of violinists in Maplewood, NJ. This past July, she celebrated her tenth summer on faculty at the Kinhaven Music School.
Anthony Mazzocchi,Trombone, received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Manhattan School of Music as a student of Per Brevig, Principal Trombonist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He received the Janet Schenck Award for Outstanding Musicianship from the school in 1997. Tony has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony, San Diego Symphony, in various Broadway shows and numerous recordings and movie soundtracks. He currently serves as Trombone Professor at Montclair State and Kean Universities in New Jersey, and is Director of Fine Arts for the South Orange/Maplewood school district in NJ. He has served on the faculty of the Manhattan School and Mannes Pre-College Divisions. Tony has been a soloist, clinician, or guest lecturer at The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, New York University, Montclair State University and North Carolina School of the Arts.

Kinhaven's all-volunteer Board of Trustees is composed of alumni, parents, and friends. The board meets at least four times a year. Its mission is to watch over Kinhaven's present and plan for its future.
