Concerts at Kinhaven

Each weekend during the Senior Summer Session, Kinhaven's concert hall comes alive with performances by both its students and faculty, featuring chamber music and symphonic works. Kinhaven's beloved concert hall provides an intimate setting for the performance of classical music, and we have been welcoming guests from around the Weston area for decades.

Kinhaven concerts are a special experience that visitors remember long after they've left our grounds. Guests are often struck, for example, by our longstanding tradition of students spontaneously breaking into madrigal choirs before concerts, or even in between pieces, so that the visitor finds them self surrounded by music even when nothing is happening on stage!

Specific concert programs are determined throughout the summer, but typically feature several works for small chamber ensembles, followed by a performance of Kinhaven's full orchestra.

Concert dates and times

Concerts at Kinhaven occur each weekend during the Senior Summer Session.
This year, senior session runs from June 22 - August 5, 2007.

STUDENT CONCERTS
Friday afternoon at 4pm
Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm.

FACULTY CONCERTS
Saturday evening at 8pm.
