Concerts at Kinhaven

Each weekend during the Senior Session, Kinhaven's concert hall comes alive with performances of chamber music and symphonic works performed by both its students and faculty. Kinhaven's beloved concert hall provides an intimate setting for the performance of classical music, and we have been welcoming guests from around the Weston area for decades.

Kinhaven concerts are a special experience which visitors remember long after they have left our grounds. Guests are often struck, for example, by our long-standing tradition of spontaneous madrigal-singing before concerts, or even between pieces, so that visitors find themselves surrounded by music even when nothing is happening on stage!

Concert programs are different every week, but typically feature works for small chamber ensembles, followed by a performance of Kinhaven's full orchestra.

CONCERT DATES AND TIMES
Concerts at Kinhaven occur each weekend during the Senior Session.
In 2010, senior session will run from June 25 to August 8, with concerts beginning on July 3rd with the first faculty concert.

STUDENT CONCERTS
Friday afternoon at 4pm
Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm
Note the special schedule on the final weekend. See Student Concerts above.

FACULTY CONCERTS
Saturday evening at 8pm, except no concert on the final Saturday.
