Our Programs

Kinhaven is a New England-based, residential summer music camp for youth and adults. Located on a beautiful, 31-acre former dairy farm in Weston, Vermont, Kinhaven offers programs and workshops in classical chamber music, orchestra, and piano.

Senior Session
90 high-school-aged musicians are admitted to our Senior Session for six weeks of chamber music, orchestra, and group and individual instruction. The experience is one of shared learning and mutual support, led by Co-Directors Tony Mazzocchi and Debbie Buck and a team of professional musicians who specialize in working with talented young people. Junior Session
70 middle school-aged musicians are selected based on audition to attend the Junior Session, but once admitted the competition ends. For two weeks, a dedicated faculty of professional musicians led by Co-directors Sandy Dennis and Marty Knieriem will match students with chamber groups and orchestral repertoire that challenges and delights them. Learn More

Young Artist Seminar
For  individuals and pre-formed groups (ages 18-28), the Young Artist Seminar provides an opportunity for intensive study of a chamber work. With director of Adam Grabois and the faculty, each group studies a single work during the week-long program which culminates in a series of performances in Southern Vermont. Learn More
